However, should you post on our site, the material you post may not be illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or abuse intellectual property rights. We also encourage all of our fans to use English on our Page to make everyone feel welcome and enjoy our site. We reserve the right to delete any content posted by you if it breaks these rules, and repeat offenders may be banned from our Page.
By posting content, you grant Monash College a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use your content including the rights to copy, distribute, transmit, display, reproduce, edit, translate and reformat, and incorporate into a collective work.
We encourage you to post photos and videos of your Monash College experience on our page, however make sure that you have obtained permission of all individuals in any photos and/or videos before posting.
You are responsible for the content you post and all activity that occurs from your account. Do not misrepresent yourself or take on the identity of someone else while using this service. If you feel that someone has misrepresented your identity on the site, please email us at networking@monashcollege.mcpl.edu.au and we'll look into it straight away.
We are flexible to a degree when it comes to self-promotion and including links to your site. If these links are helpful to our readers, then there is usually no problem. If, however, they are considered spam, breach our guidelines, add little value to our students or are blatant advertising they will be removed.
In addition, Monash College upholds the Terms of Service standards administered by Facebook. Facebook encourages all users to utilise the 'Report' links when they find abusive content. Monash College takes all reasonable steps to store your personal information securely, and will never pass your personal information to other parties without your express consent.
